You get new tracks, weapons and tanks when you win races. There are three cup races (bronze, silver and gold) you must win to play next cup. Tank Racer also have normal 2 player mode and battle mode which is like Vigilante 8. There are also different tracks to one and two player modes and in the battle mode.
